Meet the Board of Management
Ian Coulter

Ian Coulter is the Church of Ireland Priest-in-Charge at Templemore Union of Parishes. As chairperson of the GSCK, he has a track record of helping the people of Kilkenny and beyond. He is a retired eLearning Executive at the Citizens Information Board.
Martin Rafter, Secretary

Martin Rafter is an experienced Project Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organisation management industry. He is skilled in working for non-profits, event management, public speaking and management. He is a business development professional with a Masters Degree focused in Social Sciences from University College Cork.
Richard Marsh

An experienced senior manager committed to changing lives for the better. Richard’s experience has taken him around the world to work in many cultures and countries. He has a high-level of experience running organisations to achieve great things in complex situations.

Michael Lanigan

Michael is one of the partners in Poe Kiely Hogan Lanigan Solicitors. Since qualifying as a solicitor in 1986 Michael has earned a reputation for being a fearless and well-respected criminal defence solicitor.
Monsignor Kieron Kennedy

Monsignor Kieron Kennedy, Episcopal Vicar for Family and Social Affairs for the diocese, was appointed Parish Priest of the Parish of Freshford in October 2018. Dublin born, he studied for the priesthood in Rome, where he was director of the Irish Holy Year Office after ordination in 1975.Since then he has lived in London and St. Canice's Parish, Kilkenny. Before taking up his appointment in the Parish of Freshford he had been president of St. Kieran's College and the Administrator in St. Mary's Cathedral with Bishop Seamus Freeman.
Liam Keane, CHAIRPERSON

Liam Keane has worked extensively with both the traveller community and with the homeless. He also works as advisor to John Paul Phelan, Carlow-Kilkenny Fine Gael TD.
